 Bongo 6 String. Available with either H, HH & HS pickup configurations. No piezo option.

 Sterling 5 String. Available with either H, HH & HS pickup configurations. Ceramic magnets. No piezo option.
 2008 Limited Edition "Sequoia Gold" finish with 5 ply matte Black and Gold pickguard. Rosewood or Maple fretboards with or without matching headstocks. Available for all Bass models. No Maple for Bongos.

 Ball Family Reserve ("BFR") Sting Rays with H and HH pickup configurations. Ash body, Mahogany tone block, 1000 year old flamed Red Wood top, Mahogany necks with Rosewood fretboard.
20th ANNIVERSARY "BALL FAMILY RESERVE" (B.F.R.) SR5 BASS (Introduced at January 2007 NAMM Show)

Finished in "Tahitian Quilt" (formerly "Bahama Blueburst"). Ten (10) only made. First original ten bridges from the 1987 SR5s were reserved for these Basses. Serial numbers are 50001-50010. Ash body with Mahogany "Tone Block" and hand-selected Maple top. Finished birdseye Maple neck with Ebony fretboard. Pearl dot markers with a "BFR" inlay at the 12th fret. Five bolt neck.





20th ANNIVERSARY SR5 BASS (Introduced at January 2007 NAMM Show)

Finish "California Sunset". Ash body with Mahogany "Tone Block" and book-matched Maple top. Approx 50% each of Quilted or Flamed. Maple or Rosewood with or without matching headstock. Pau Ferro for lined and unlined fretless. Dual pickup models wired in parallel with 5 way switching. Single Humbucker models remain 3 way switching but with a new series mode. Alnico magnets for all humbucker pickups except Neodymium magnets for the single coil pickups. A new 3 Band EQ pre-amp. Five bolt neck rather than the 6 bolt as found on the regular SR5. Piezo option is not available.

Translucent Crimson Mahogany body with 5 ply Black pickguard. Stained Crimson Birdseye Maple neck finished with polyester. Rosewood Fretboard or Pau Ferro fretless (lined or unlined). Strings-Through-Body bridge. 3 Band EQ electronics only.
